The OpticSlim 2610 is capable of scanning A4-size document at optical resolution 1200 dpi and is power cord free, using a USB interface for power and communication with the computer. It is so compact (3.3 cm height) that it can be easily packed in a briefcase, alongside a laptop. Special designed hinges with Lid A feature which is ideal for thicker books and 3D objects scanning. Searchable PDF Embedded Searchable PDF is a PDF Image document with the addition of a text layer beneath the image. This approach retains the look of the original page while enabling text search ability. The text layer is created by an Optical Character Recognition (OCR) application which is suitable for searching function with Adobe Reader or Google Desktop Search to lead you quickly find any related information that you suppose to have.
